When does the 2024 Car Raffle begin and end?
Ticket sales open Monday 15 July and close on Monday 16 September at 11.59pm or when the tickets sell out.
What is the grand prize of the 2024 Car Raffle?
When will the winning ticket be drawn?
The Grand Prize will be drawn on Wednesday 17 September at 12.30pm at Variety's Greenlane offices.
When/how will the winner be announced?
How will the winner be notified?
All proceeds will be donated to Variety – the children’s charity, and will be distributed in line with our various programmes that enable children and young people to thrive in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

How many tickets will be sold?
Only 12,000 tickets are available.
How much do tickets cost?
Tickets are $25 each.
Am I eligible to buy a ticket?
Entry is open to all New Zealand residents aged 18 years or older – that is why we ask your date of birth.
Variety employees and their immediate family are ineligable.

How can I purchase a ticket?
Tickets can only be purchased online at fordranger.variety.org.nz via credit or debit card (Mastercard, Visa, AMEX).
Unfortunately, the platform can only accept 10 digits and some mobile numbers are 9 digits. If you have nine digits – please enter an extra 0 to the beginning of your number, e.g. 0021xxxxxx
Are tickets tax deductible?
Raffle ticket purchases are not classified as donations and are therefore are not tax deductible.
I purchased my ticket but haven’t received it yet, what do I do?
Tickets will be emailed to you within 4 hours of a successful purchase. Make sure to check your spam or junk folder. Page 1 of the attachment is your payment receipt and Page 2 will state your ticket number/s in the top left corner of each ticket. If you still haven't received your ticket please email sponsorkids@variety.org.nz
When processing my credit card details what is the “add a little extra to help cover fees” for?
Did you know that there are fees associated with all online transactions? You can help cover some of the fees associated with your transaction by leaving the “add a little extra to help cover fees” tick-box ticked. You can remove this small fee by simply ‘unchecking’ the tick box. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund merchant fees if you leave the box ticked in error.

Can I make a tax deductible donation to Variety – the children’s charity?
Yes, donations are very gratefully received and any donation amount of $5 or more is tax deductible. Donations are not refundable. You can make a donation online at www.variety.org.nz
Is the Grand Prize donated?
No, the Grand Prize is not donated. Variety – the children's charity is a proud partner of Ford and we have recieved the vehicle at the best possible price.

I received a promotional email about the raffle. How did you get my details?
You may have supported Variety in the past, attended one of our events, or supported someone who did.
How do I know my credit card and personal details are secure?
All personal details collected for the Variety Raffle are held and used in strict accordance with our Privacy Policy which can be viewed by clicking here.
All credit card details and transactions are processed using a bank approved, secure payment gateway. No credit card numbers are stored.
Can I remain anonymous if I win?
As part of our Terms & Conditions, Variety may publish the name and location of the Grand Prize winner and may use such information for promotional purposes.
